What are the top three (3) most pressing issues
facing the School District? What
steps would you take to accomplish them?
Enrollment, extra curricula availability,
infrastructure, overall morale, accountability for students’ actions, and lack
of action from the top down.
Be a firm voice for the parents by holding the
superintendent accountable for his in action when necessary. Focus on working
with the board to rebuild extra curricula into the elementary and Jr high
levels which will uplift school spirit and increase parent involvement. Ensure
clear policies are in place for student accountability and are followed
correctly by the staff.

What are
the top three (3) most pressing issues facing the School District?
1.
Prevent
early sexualization of children and the promotion of harmful and radical
ideologies such as CRT, SEL and Gender Theory in the classroom.
2.
Schools
should play a supportive community role while recognizing parents as the
ultimate authority in making private decisions regarding their child’s
healthcare and education.
3.
School
Boards, are typically the most accessible and impactful form of constitutional
representative government to citizens and supported by their taxes, therefore I
believe must make every effort to be a Voice for parents and community members
in their district.
What
steps would you take to accomplish them?
1.
Work
with curriculum committee members to critically evaluate curriculum, and also
evaluate school services and programs
2.
Keep
communication open and parents informed, support parents in their rights to
parent and care for their children; provide resources for further education.
3.
A
few ideas: Provide brief periodic surveys to parents and families on relevant
issues or proposed actions, propose teams to target a solution for a specific
problem, show up to key school events to interact with families and staff,
welcome attendees and speakers at board meetings, provide explanation of
protocols and procedures, etc.

Increase
security measures across campus including that no student is to leave the

- 1.
Student attendance.
- 2.

1.
We need to critically look at why student
attendance is down and not blame the "pandemic". Seeking input as to
why parents don't want to send their kids to our district is crucial to make
positive changes regarding attendance.
2.
Parents need to know what is being taught to
their children. A process and/or system needs to be in place, and easily
accessible, for parents to know what curriculum is being presentnted. Parents
also need a voice regarding potential controversial topics being taught.
3.
As our children develop into young adults, it
is imperative that they are taught how to think for themselves and not what to
think. I believe we need to develop a culture of respecting opposing opinions
and healthy debate.
